When?

Every Sunday at 10am

… classes for pre-school children through college-age youth

Where?

Just about anywhere, really! Classes are held at First Church of Christ, Scientist, in San Juan Capistrano, California in person, and students also can attend through video-conferencing from anywhere in the world. Our students come from several different local communities and some from other states around the country. Each class is designed to meet the individual needs of the current students wherever they may be.

What can you expect?

An atmosphere of unconditional love where every student in each class is welcomed, valued and cherished…where you will always be listened to, encouraged to ask big questions and join with others in finding spiritual solutions and practical answers.

“In the beginning…”

Classes for younger students are based on the Bible and its spiritual interpretation. Younger children become familiar with the timeless lessons of the Bible, including the teaching and healing mission of Christ Jesus, and how they can apply these lessons themselves every day. The Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and the Lord’s Prayer build a strong foundation for each child’s spiritual growth and discovery of who they are and their relationship to God. Students are introduced to Mary Baker Eddy, her discovery of Christian Science and to Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

The spiritual adventure continues….

Our older students are inspired to be active listeners, and in a Q&A format to ask their tough questions and expect to share with others in finding meaningful, practical, spiritual solutions they can apply to their current experiences and challenges. The class environment is one of lively participation, grounded in mutual respect, support, and loving encouragement for one another.
