We are a church where prayer and love unite in healing. Besides regular monthly Metaphysical Workshops, on the fourth Monday, members opt to address specific topics in ad hoc groups. Anyone is welcome to participate. Currently, three groups have formed – one (the Love our Neighbors project) is addressing racial equality and justice in this community, another (the Climate Studies project) is addressing Global Warming and Climate Change and a third is focused on contributing written and voiced inspiration to TMC’s periodicals. Tithing info: This Christian Science Church donates part of our collection each month to a specific local, national, or global organizations whose mission we support. We are tithing this month to CREER Comunidad y Familia in support of their outreach to children and families in San Juan Capistrano and south Orange County--- a 24/7 true labor of love. CREER means to believe, and CREER’s values are
• Believing in the power of the human spirit
• Believing in the power of community””
• Believing all goals and dreams are achievable
CREER’s mission, vision and goals are aligned to develop educational, cultural and civic leadership programs to help the most vulnerable families in our community to close the academic and cultural gaps that poverty creates, as well as to fight food insecurity in their households. Through a wide offering of programs including youth education, parent education, youth leadership, sports, the arts, and gang prevention, CREER reaches over 10,000 children and families in a year. The staff and volunteers welcome our ongoing prayers and express “infinite gratitude” for our support. Join us Sunday April 13th after church for an update from CREER on their progress as well as current challenges. Visit https://creeroc.org/ for inspiring stories!
